In 2021 Chris and Whitney Laseter had the amazing opportunity to come and live in one of their favorite cities, Salt Lake City. Chris had dreamed of living in the West for over a decade and wanted to trade in Georgia Pine Trees for the Rockies. Whitney as an Oklahoma native, was ready for beautiful fall scenery and how family oriented it is.

In April of that year they toured the Bark City property and fell in love with it. Once purchased they immediately started making it their own by throughly renovating and upgrading the dog facilities with new floors, paint, new kennels, grooming stations and more.

Chris and Whitney’s desire is for your dog to not feel they are at a boarding facility. They want your dog to feel as happy and comfortable as they would be staying at their Grandparents house while you travel. They also want you to feel that your dog isn’t missing out on your trip, but that they may even be having more fun then you! Between services like spacious climate controlled individual kennel suites, elevated Kuranda beds, blankets and even their own “pawtio” with access indoor and out when the weather is nice. They offer premiums services such as farm time, extra cuddle time, baths and blowouts, nail trims, stuffed Kongs, tasty treats, nightly report cards, photos and more!

At Bark City Lodge your dog’s health and happiness is paramount. The technicians are trained in advanced dog husbandry to make sure your dog has the best care. The Laseter’s even live on the property so your dog is never alone at night.
